Cot (Malbec)
This grape variety reveals a vibrant, authentic expression, while retaining the elegance typical of Loire terroirs. This wine, with its deep ruby-red color and purplish tints, seduces with its generous aromatic bouquet.
On the nose, it offers notes of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry, plum), enhanced by spicy and sometimes floral touches, evoking violets.
On the palate, its structure is full-bodied and fleshy, with silky tannins and a lovely freshness that makes it highly drinkable.
More supple and accessible than its South-Western counterparts, Côt de Loire remains a wine of character, perfect for accompanying grilled meats, dishes in sauce or mature cheeses.

Discover our winesTerroir and climate: a precious alliance
The vines, planted on the dominant slopes of the Cher river, benefit from Perruche-type clay-limestone and flint soils.
The unique micro-climate of the Loire Valley, with its good light, natural ventilation and low rainfall, favors optimal ripening of the grapes, directly influencing the structure and aromas of the wines.
